READY TO JOIN YRD1?

We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon! Here’s everything you need to know to get started.

THE BASICS

1. BUY CREDITS

We work on a credit system, where 1 credit = 1 class. First, buy your credits by choosing the right price package for you. If you don't already have an account, you'll be asked to create one.

2. BOOK A CLASS

Once you have your credits, all you need to do is book on to a class. Simply select the class you're interested in and choose a date and time that works for you. You can read our FAQs here.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS

HOW TO GET HERE

You can find us by putting our address into google maps: Unit 2, Innovation Park, Poole, BH17 7DA.

 

As we’re a little off the beaten track, on arrival you will see our YRD1 signs that will lead you round to the studio.

 

There’s free on-site parking for YRD1 members. The YRD1 parking is on the left-hand side as you face the YRD1 building, but there is also plenty of parking in and around the site if those spaces are full

WHAT TO BRING

Simply wear comfortable workout clothes and trainers and bring a towel and a bottle of water (you can refill it on site).

 

We provide all of the equipment you’ll need for the class, including the wraps and gloves for SCRAP, but if you do have any of your own feel free to bring them along.

Our coaches will take you through everything you need to know on arrival and get you set up correctly so that you get the most out of your class.

GET THE MOST FROM YOUR CLASS

THE BASICS

BE EARLY

We recommend getting to YRD1 at least 15 minutes before your session. That gives us time to get you set up properly, introduce you to your instructor and give you a rundown on what to expect from your class.

CHECK IN

On arrival, please check-in at the front desk and let us know it’s your first class. We’ll make sure you have anything you need for the class and answer any questions you might have!

WORK TO YOUR SPEED

Our classes and trainers are designed to push you to have a great workout, but it’s essential you work out at a level that’s comfortable for you.

 

We have an awesome community of people who are all striving to grow and better themselves, but everyone’s goals are their own. We advocate a ‘focus on you’ policy – meaning focus only on your goals and the workout in front of you. The only person we want you to compete with is yourself. Just turn up and get ready to be inspired, challenged and pushed further than you’ve been before.
