How we use cookies

We only use non-essential device identifiers (eg cookies) if you have given us your consent to do so through our cookie banner.

Our website uses cookies, as almost all websites do. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile phone when you browse websites.

Anonymous Visitor Statistics Cookies

We use cookies to compile visitor statistics such as how many people have visited our website, what type of technology they are using, how long they spend on the site, what page they look at etc. This helps us to continuously improve our website. Analytics programs (i.e. Google Analytics) may also tell us on an anonymous basis how people are reaching our site (i.e. from a search engine), and whether they have been on our website before.

This helps us to understand where our website visitors come from and how people may be hearing about us. Please be aware that if you call us, using a phone number on the website, or complete an online form (i.e. signup to emails or contact us) we can potentially tell how you arrived on our website (i.e. from a search engine or social media)

We use:

  • Google Analytics – a service offered by google to track and report on website traffic, in order for us to better understand how the website is being used.

  • Google Tag manager – to help us monitor all tags on one platform

  • Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram

Advertising Cookies

Cookies are widely used in online advertising. Neither us, advertisers or our advertising partners can gain personally identifiable information from these cookies. We also use cookies to show you more relevant advertising online, through channels such as Facebook, Instagram and Google. These allow us to track activity through these channels and on our website.

Remarketing Cookies

You may notice that sometimes after visiting a site you see increased numbers of adverts from the site you visited. This is because advertisers, including ourselves pay for these adverts. The technology to do this is made possible by cookies and as such we may place a so called “remarketing cookie” during your visit. We may use these adverts to offer special offers etc to encourage you to come back to our site. This whole process is entirely anonymised and we would not be able to proactively reach out to you ourselves.

You can learn more about online advertising at www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/. You can opt-out of almost all advertising cookies at www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices although we would prefer that you didn’t as ultimately adverts help keep much of the internet free. It is also worth noting that opting out of advertising cookies will not mean you won’t see adverts, just simply that they won’t be tailored to you any longer.
